Welcome Parents, Teachers and Friends of Trailside Point:

It is hard to believe that school year is upon us once again. The summers go by faster each year!  We, the Trailside Point PTA are very enthusiastic about the upcoming year but let’s revisit what the PTA with your help has accomplished since our establishment just 3 ˝ years ago. The following has been purchased with funds raised by the Trailside Point PTA: 3 shade structures, bike corral, piano and marquee. The PTA has also provided Honor Roll ice cream and Principal List Pizza parties each term for the last three years and well as numerous rewards for our students and teachers including the Student of the Month Breakfast and help fund fieldtrips for each grade.  Lastly, the PTA has run the Scholastic Book Fairs which has provided close to $10,000 in books back to the school library, teachers and students. These accomplishments could not have been possible without your wonderful support. 

Now it is time to move forward with what we have planned so far for the upcoming year.

The school is still in need of one possibly two shade structures to cover the remaining uncovered playground equipment. We are hoping to accomplish this with our fall fundraiser which will be selling fun pasta package of all sorts of different shapes at a reasonable price.  We are extremely excited about bringing an exciting assembly from the “Not My Kid” organization to help “Inspire Positive Life Choices” for the upper grades.

We also will be sponsoring the Honor Roll and Principal List parties as well as the Student of the Month Breakfast as well increasing our funding for fieldtrips for each grade. As in the past the PTA will be running two Scholastic Book Fairs. 

As you can see we have many events planned but we need your help to make them a reality as well as planning other events. Please join us on August 10^th at 6 pm in Room 22 for our first PTA meeting of the new school year. Again, thank you for your previous support of the Trailside Point PTA and we look forward to support again this year.
